One of the things I learned the hard way was that it doesn’t pay to get discouraged. Keeping busy and making optimism a way of life can restore your faith in yourself.
Lucille Ball
Love this quote. I am also a huge fan of Lucille Ball. She is so glamorous.
I am back, well sort of back, I am still trying to get things rolling and finish up some things I didn’t get done before Christmas but lots of announcements and things to be excited for. Please stay tuned.

Happy Christmas.
I know I already posted my Happy Holidays message, but since it is Christmas this week, I thought a “Happy Christmas” post was in order. :)
Isn’t he adorable? Can you believe I get to wake up to that cute face every morning? I am one lucky girly.

Don’t these photos make you feel warm and cozy? Like drinking a cup of hot chocolate or getting a hug from a person you love. I adore them. I adore the feeling I get when I look at them.
These are images from an interior I shot. I loved it. I love the details. I love all of the little things and intimate characteristics.
I am still editing but will post more soon.

Wishing everyone a very happy holiday.
I just realized that Christmas is next week and I have not taken the time to say thank you to all of my friends, clients, and readers. It has been a lovely year. Thank you for making it possible.
I love this photo. Their little pink cheeks make me want to say words like delightful and plum pudding. I couldn’t decide which I liked better, the muted color or the antique finish, so I posted both.
Side Notes…
I am still behind on emails, they are coming.
If you contacted me about the January Senior Portraits, info is coming.
I am also thinking about doing a puppies for Christmas promotion. So if you are getting a puppy, or giving a puppy for Christmas please check back for additional info. I am still deciding and working out the details.

This is Carson, he is a doll. I absolutely adored working with him. I think he is destined to be an inventor. At our session, I was sworn to secrecy and told some of his newest ideas, which I have to say, totally rock.
The styling in this session was incredible, his mom is a genius.
And on a side note….
Do these photos look ‘wonky’ to you? I am having some color calibration issues. I think I have them fixed but won’t know until I get my delivery from the photo lab tonight, so if you are getting ‘wonky’. Sorry, I am working on it.
Which brings us to the next order of business. The word ‘wonky.’ Which I happen to think is a very cool word. See example below.
My husband said, “Does my hair look funny today?”
I replied with a giggle, “No, it totally looks wonky.”
My husband then threw me on the bed and tickle tortured me until I took it back.
