Image boxes are so in… (just ask Lemony Snickett!). I love, love, love them printed on metallic paper from whcc.
This set includes 4 custom designed 5×7 image box templates for $45.
Each template comes as a fully layered psd and is super easy to use and customize.

I used the font, vaguely repulsive for these boxes.
WHCC specs, but can be printed at any lab that offers image boxes (Finao, Dream Album).
I sell mine as a set that includes: an image box, 10 mounted prints, and an easel. They are the perfect product for clients who want lots of images but don’t want a kagillion photos all over their walls.

It was my birthday yesterday!
It was a lovely, perfect, fabulous day.
I woke up to homemade (really homemade, from scratch, no mix) waffles with gooey chocolate chips, perfectly just ripe bananas and fluffy whip cream. Carefully crafted by my hubby. They were DELICIOUS and served alongside homefries.
I was then ushered away to a couple hours of shopping. I got a fabulous t-shirt and cardigan. Love them!
Followed by a movie… The Blindside. So cute.
Dinner at my favorite Restaurant, El Matador. It is this little Mexican restaurant. Totally fabulous food. I had nachos and diet pepsi for dinner. Nothing else, not a healthy thing in site. I loved every sinful cheesy bite. The waiter was totally impressed (or disgusted…. I couldn’t really tell) by my ability to eat so many pounds of cheese and chips.
Then Cake with ice cream (Nothing Bundt Cakes is divine).
Followed by Super Mario Brothers on the wii with my brother and Jason (I laugh the entire time, I think we are the worst Super Mario Brother players ever) and then way too many episodes of Jersey Shore.
I can’t imagine a more fabulous day.
Some fabulous little ‘Save the Date’ card templates!
A set of 5 custom designed 5×7 flat card templates (front and back).
Each card comes as a fully layered psd and is super easy to use and customize.

It has been a while (said in an embarrassed voice). I am sorry for the delay. But today is the day… my first blog post of the new year.
Some updates…. It is 2010… Woot! Woot!
I survived the holidays and enjoyed myself…. another Woot! Woot!
And I feel happy today… A huge Woot! Woot! I love happy days.
I started doing family photography at the end of last year and I dig it, so I am officially adding it to my repator.
I am learning Illustrator. It is taking me for a walk around the block. By the fifth hour of Illustrator training my brain is mush, and all I can do is make gurgle noises as I drown in my own brain matter… gurgle…. gurgle…. and sip diet Pepsi (in the hopes that it will revive me and re-congeal my brain like a jello mold). Was that too much information? Sorry.
My hope with learning Illustrator is that I will be able to create templates to sell to other photographers for holiday cards, albums, and all sorts of other design stuff. I am hesitant to mention this in case I don’t actually do it (over achiever and I might fail issues surfacing) …. but I think by putting it out there and saying, “Universe this is what I want,” I increase my odds substantially.
I will keep you updated.
I had a marvelous time shooting this session. Did you notice how adorable my subject was???? I know, so cute. The light was crazy weird on this day….. super flat and really just flat. I had to dig into my bag of trusty photographer tricks to make it work. And thank goodness I have a bag of trusty photographer tricks. They totally saved my bacon.
One other thing…. I get emails asking questions about this and that and rather than answer each question a bunch of times, I am starting a Q&A section on the blog. If you have questions about my photography, photography in general or really anything you would like to know (that I can help with) please email me at jamie@jamie-sampson.com.
Cheers. Peace Out. Lots of Hugs. Can you dig it? Rock On!

What a year…. I am speechless and have eight thousand things to say…. one of those weird Jamie-ism’s. For now, I am going with speechless.
I am behind on posting. I had so many fun and fabulous and tear inducing sessions/moments that I can’t wait to share. But… all in do time, I have Christmas-ie things that need to be done before the big day.
Thank you for being my clients and friends and readers and for making my life so much more than I ever imagined it could be.
Wishing you a very Happy Holiday!
Oh… the cute ornament featured above is by Anthropologie.

A full day with Jamie? Leaning everything she knows? Interested?
The details: A full day including in-studio and on-location (natural light) shooting with models (lighting, posing, all the details), photo shop technique (how to get your colors to pop), marketing, learning how to interact with your subjects and getting them to look natural, have fun and be themselves, pricing, developing your own style and branding, the whole sha-bang. I will keep you updated but until it is fixed, please email me all orders: jamie@jamie-sampson.com
Once I receive your order I will send you a confirmation invoice, so you know I have it.
****UPDATE****
I just got an email from technical support. The shopping cart has been updated and should be working.
In order to view the updated shopping cart you need to clear your cache. Instructions are below:
Safari (MAC): Simply click on the safari button at the top of your screen and click on “Empty Cache” – there is unfortunately no setting in Safari that will do this for you automatically.
Internet Explorer (PC) : Open up explorer, click on the “tools” button at the top of your screen then click on “internet options”. In the second row down on the general tab you will first delete cookies and delete files – this will get rid of any previously stored pages. You will then click on Settings on that same row of buttons and you will select “every visit to the page” and click OK . This will ensure that all the edits you make on the site are instantly visible.
Firefox (mac or PC):
Click on the firefox tab at the top of your screen when in firefox. Then click on the preferences tab. From there click on the network tab and set the cache to use up to 0 mb of space for the cache.
After doing this you should be able to view the most current shopping cart.
If you have any additional problems please email me. You are also welcome to send your order via email (jamie@jamie-sampson.com). Once I receive your order (via the online shopping cart or via email) I will send you a confirmation email with an attached invoice. If you do not receive the confirmation email I did not receive your order.
