I am not really sure where to begin or what to say. Other than taking a huge optimistic deep breath and enjoying the sunshine pouring in my window. In case you have not noticed or are just tuning in, I have been away for about a month. Some things happened in my life, and all of the balls I was juggling came crashing to the ground in a terrible thunderous crashing heap and I was left sitting in the rubble. I didn’t really know how to pick up the pieces or even if I really wanted to. So I left the balls sitting in ashes and decided to just take care of me for a little while. I have hiked, and ate way too much chocolate, and cried and soul searched and read, and watched 2 seasons of the Ghost Whisperer, and cried, and tried to figure things out, and cried and cried and cried some more. It is a month later and the pile of ashes are still sitting in the middle of the floor. I do think I am ready to dip my toes back into the world of photography and hopefully it will help me heal. I can’t wait! Please email me to set up a session. :)

BTW – Isn’t this girly adorable? I loved her. She was just what I needed. A little ray of sunshine and happiness. :) The tongue photo, makes me laugh every time, she does that when she is concentrating…. I am cracking up now. And the location was to die for!

Kimberly - You are brave! It is often hard to admit when we are struggling. I wish I lived in your neck of the woods so we could chat about working together!

Jennifer - Your "voice" is so good to hear. I have missed you desperately and thought about you constantly. If you would like to talk to someone (really talk) who is completely unbiased please call me. I adore you and now that I am 40 I feel I have a ton of advice wink wink to give. Actually, I've just really learned to listen. Glad you are back behind the lens. You have a gift, follow it.

brigita - hi girl, nice to see your photographs again :) great as always - adorable girl. Hope I will be able to work with you some day maybe. Wishing you the best!

JayMorr - Keep your head up! I drop in every now and then to see your work. While I am not sure if your recent post is related to photography (or your personal life), I can honestly say it can be discouraging at times working behind the lens. I have faced the greatest challenges in my business and moving forward I decided to let go and just have fun shooting. Your imagery shows your passion. Keep it up, continue moving forward and always have fun. If you ever need a hand...I am just up the road in Bountiful. Take Care, "JayMorr" Jason Morrison ps. Tell Jas, I said hello. I hope he is doing well.

Carin - The images are sweet and beautiful! It's good to have you back! {{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}

Sarah - SO happy to see a new post from you! Well-I'm a week late seeing it, so newISH. Been praying for you--just for peace, clarity & rejuvination of spirit & strength. Sounds like you're finding your way through life's messes, sweet girl. LOVELY pictures..the eyelashes & tongue are fabu. Keep on keepin' on & you'll be stronger for it! xoxo

Pat - She must be a Michael Jordan in training with the tongue thing. She does warm your heart as you do Jamie. Life is great and so full of choices only sometimes we want someone else to make those choices for us.Somehow it doesn't work that way. Growth is sometimes very painful if we but weather the storm. It's true.Happy Monday!!!!
